Ladder to Nowhere

Already?!
I've gotten in the habit of going on late night bike rides lately. It's kind of neat. It's a little cold, but there's literally no one on the street. It's kind of like the world is turned off. So anyways, I'm riding around last night, and I see this house:
A few thoughts:
1. I live in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood...odd.
1. I live in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood...odd.
2. christmas is over a month away, it just seems slightly excessive.
3. I could say quite a bit more about the above, but I'll hold off on the angry Jewish kid rant.
4. I wonder how much christmas lights add to the average person's electric bill (really just a curiosity thing).
On a second slightly different note (but also something I came upon while cycling at night), mirror-windows (if that's the propor nomenclature) are pretty neat. I came across this building that had several of them:
I began to wonder. Why do buildings have these windows? Is it just for aesthetics? Then I realized that the answer's totally obvious: they're hiding something. So the question really becomes: what are they hiding? I guess I'll never know.

I heart O'Hare
Coffee always makes me have to poop.
There I said it! I am not ashamed of it.
I have to be conscious about my schedule once
I start to drink some delicious morning brew.
Like, the other day when I was flying to Chicago.
But I have a special place in my heart
for the bathrooms at O'Hare now.
The toilets have an automatic protective wrap on them.
So, you can finally eliminate the time it takes to place
little pieces of tp on the lid.
Sometimes there is a moment
you can really appreciate technology.

Childhood vending machine.
While seeing Wall-e for a mere $1.25 at Universal Mall, (where the only semi-dollar theater left stands) I came across one of the most amazing vending machines in the world. This vending machine only sold trading cards, like Magic cards, baseball cards, 1994 piston team roster cards, 1992 NHL cards, and even the one that is accompanied by stale gum from 1991. All of these packs can be yours for the small price of $.25 to $1.75.
I never knew my childhood became vintage.
I'm old.
